Paul and I shared many G&S and BLOC shows in Brussels. He was multi-talented and a kind man to boot. One of my favourite memories is from Ruddigore, when he picked up the 2 chief bridesmaids (I was one of them) and swung them round with ease, singing all the while as Dick Dauntless. His roles were many & varied. Inquisitor in Gondoliers, Bosun in Pinafore, Le Bresilien in Vie Parisienne, Samuel in Pirates, Lord Mountarat in Iolanthe, the pig farmer (!) Zsupan in Gypsy Baron, my husband Baron Mirko Zeta in Merry Widow... too many to mention! He was also our Stage Director & Music Director on several occasions. Built sets. Most memorable of all to me was his portrayal of Hobson in Hobson's Choice. What a pleasure to act opposite him as his feisty daughter Maggie! Such fun!
