As I reflect and come to terms with the fact that both my Aunt, and now my Uncle, have passed away, the realisation dawns that two very bright lights in my life have departed. 

And their lights were bright - never dull- never a dull moment! 

Spending time with my Uncle during some of his final hours, was a humbling privilege whilst also very sobering.  Here was the man who never seemed to falter, never seemed phased, never seemed daunted by task or responsibility, never failed to step in when needed or called upon.  For this and a plethora of other reasons, he will be greatly missed and leaves a deep regard and respect by many.

To my unique Aunty Di and Uncle Paul - continue shining - your memories stay alive through those who loved you.
